STF Load Check – the wash test for monitoring cleaning performance in the washer-disinfector. STF Load Check indicator strips monitor the cleaning performance of the thermal disinfector during every cleaning cycle. Simply insert a strip into the Load Check holder and then place it in the washer-disinfector. During cleaning, the colored areas on the indicator strip are washed away. After the complete cleaning cycle, the strip is removed from the holder and checked for residues. The complete removal of the colored areas serves to monitor and document the cleaning performance. The test soils, printed in color on both sides, are purely synthetic. They consist of dyes, various proteins, lipids, and polysaccharides. They are free of blood products and pose no health risks when used as intended. The composition perfectly replicates test soils for surgical instruments according to EN 15883-5 without causing contamination.
